Family Owned. Family Oriented.
Mills Horse & Cattle Ranch is a heartfelt family-owned venture that embodies our passion for ranching and our commitment to our community. Led by myself, Kassidy Mills, alongside my husband Travis, our son Beau, and our daughter Bonnie, we are proud to be first-generation ranchers. Our journey into the world of ranching has been a dream come true, as we have always aspired to own and raise cattle, along with a variety of other animals that enrich our lives and our land.
Our adventure began in 2018 when we took the significant step of acquiring our first cows. This pivotal moment ignited our passion and set us on a path toward fulfilling our ranching dreams. By 2020, we were thrilled to purchase our ranch in the beautiful landscape of Livingston, TX, where we could cultivate our vision and expand our operations. Since then, we have worked diligently to grow our herd, focusing on providing high-quality beef to our local community. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our holistic ranching practices, which prioritize the health and well-being of our animals while ensuring the best possible meat quality for our customers.
At Mills Horse & Cattle Ranch, we believe that our work goes beyond just raising cattle; it is about nurturing a way of life that honors our values and beliefs. Our mission is deeply rooted in our faith, as we strive to share God's love through the food we provide. We are dedicated to raising diligent children who understand the importance of hard work, responsibility, and respect for nature. We cherish the simple joys of life, finding fulfillment in our connection to the land and the animals we care for.
As we cultivate our ranch, we are reminded of the wisdom found in Psalm 104:14: "He (God) causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and vegetation for the service of man, that He may bring forth food from the earth." This verse encapsulates our purpose and inspires us to honor the natural world while providing nourishment for our community. We invite you to join us on this journey, as we continue to grow, learn, and share the fruits of our labor with those around us. Together, we can celebrate the beauty of ranching, the joy of family, and the blessings of nature.
